Pro-active surveillance for a greater DB2 availability.
XM4DB2, the Exception Master, is a program that works in the background and contlinually checks the availability of DB2 objects and the operational readiness of utilities, plans and packages. It proactively looks for indicators for current or potential problems, so called “exceptions”. In a nutshell, it takes care of the health status of DB2 environments. It provides a single polint of control, sends alerts of incidents to the administrators and solves predefined problems.
